Merv’s Sportcafé is the one and only real sportscafé in Alkmaar (The Netherlands).
Merv’s opened its doors on march 1st 2006 and there is something for everyone. If you fancy a beer in relaxed atmosphere or you want to cheer your team on whether it is football, darts, rugby or any other sport that is live on tv. |

Maybe you prefer to have a game of darts on one of our 8 dartboards or pool with your mates on one of our tables or perhaps a game of backgammon. Once a month we try to have live music whether that is a live band or a dj (we are always looking for new bands). We are also available for private parties such as birthdays, weddings or wedding anniversaries, perhaps you want to organize your own darts tournament for example a company outing or you just want to let your friends see how good you are.
Merv’s also organizes regularly darts tournaments with single and couple tournaments. Once in the six weeks we also organize pool tournaments. We are always on the look out for new talent so if you think you could be the next Michael van Gerwen why not pop in and challenge someone to a game.
